Tuesday we went to the Olympic Venues and museum.

Feel the Rhythm! Feel the Rhyme!

Watching the ski jumpers.  Pretty fascinating!

We ate lunch while we watched the trick ski jumpers practice into a pool.

My family is quite the force when we travel together:)  

Then we went over to the Alpine Slide and Coaster.

So fun!

Favorite part of this ride was hearing the rest of my family whooping and hollering as they went down:) 

Leilani went down the slide with Dad.  I was so impressed that she actually did it!  It was even a little scary for me but she had a HUGE smile on her face when she came down and wanted to go again:)

Wednesday was our Olympic Event day. 

Thursday was Beach Day.

It was slightly windy and cloudy but that didn't deter our group:)

The Cole family had a little bit of a rough run this day.  

Leilani had a yeast infection and was just miserable.  Poor thing.

I love my family so much!

It is very rare that we get to spend time with all of us together so it is such a treat when it happens!

So grateful for such wonderful support and examples to admire.

The Bird Show 

(probably the only thing worth while that day since it was about 104*.  The animals weren't really up for performing.)

My dad's occupational career was an engineer, but his lifetime career is a teacher.

This was her face the whole time.

So we gave up and let TJ ride instead.

I just wish I had a picture of my Mom and Dad riding the animals in front of us!

This was about the only animal willing to move in the heat, oh and the seals...they have water:)

Needing something COLD.  It wasn't worth the 5 bucks spent on it, but at least it had ice!

Ruby River for dinner afterward.  Leilani apparently enjoyed the bread:)

Africa (I love that this is the first thing you said when we learned the "A" sound. Grandma and Grandpa leave for their mission to South Africa in 4 days)

Apple (no brainer)

Alligator (our teeter-totter is shaped like a 'gator)

and Airplane (we live near Hill Air Force Base...it would be pretty eerie if we didn't hear constant fighter planes flying over head)

The Letter S

Leilani's learning her ABC's

You've been able to sing the song for about a year, but now we are working on recognizing and naming the letters.  So I decided to do a letter every few days and go around the house and find things that begin with that letter.  Then we draw a picture to remind us of what we found.

First letter...
