The Letter A

Um, yes you chose this pose:)
Love your new hair cut by the way!
Anyway
A stands for
Africa (I love that this is the first thing you said when we learned the "A" sound. Grandma and Grandpa leave for their mission to South Africa in 4 days)
Apple (no brainer)
Alligator (our teeter-totter is shaped like a 'gator)
and Airplane (we live near Hill Air Force Base...it would be pretty eerie if we didn't hear constant fighter planes flying over head)

The Letter T

T is for
Targhee and TJ of course!
Tiger (You were being Shere Khan at the moment)
Trampoline (a favorite pass time)
Tomato (we're growing some in our garden)
Toby (our neighbor's dog)
and Trike (you JUST learned how to pedal:)

I think you're starting to catch on.
The rest of the day you were asking me things like
"Does apple start with T?"
"What does Gramma start with?"
You're a pretty smart cookie:)

The Letter M

Second Letter
M
"every letter makes a sound and M says 'MMmm'"
(that's the song we sing)
M is for Mommy (aka Monica which you now confuse for Momica;)
Mushrooms (we have a lot in our yard right now since it rained a ton last weekend)
Mailbox
and
Music (you LOVE to sing:)

The Letter S

Leilani's learning her ABC's
You've been able to sing the song for about a year, but now we are working on recognizing and naming the letters.  So I decided to do a letter every few days and go around the house and find things that begin with that letter.  Then we draw a picture to remind us of what we found.
First letter...
S
(turns out this is an easy one:)
says "Ssss" just like a Snake
You had just been running though the Sprinklers, Swinging on the Swings, Sliding down the Slide, Sweeping with the broom, and you found a Spider:)
